What do you think about when someone says “True Love”? Is it a lost cause, a happy ideal, or something else? Some of us have been loved well, others not so much. Love isn’t a ‘girly’ or ‘wimpy’ thing; rather, it is real sustenance, real relationship.

“The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” — Zephaniah 3:17

To be exalted, no matter your past or present, to make another’s heart glad—that is why you were made. You are to enjoy, and be enjoyed in beautiful relationship—something you may not have experienced before. “He will quiet you by his love”—what beauty. Rest as God offers you real relationship.

Take 2-3 minutes and journal what you imagined your day would look like if you believed today’s truth. Thank God for His love—even if it is foreign.
