Day 19
“Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” —Revelation 16:9
The Bible is filled with words about food. Parables, laws, principles and feasts. The first event of the New Heavens and New Earth is a feast. Food seems to be very important to God.

Focus
“Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” —John 6:35
Food provides nourishment for our body and brain. It brings pleasure to our tastebuds. It is the occasion of social events and the elements of the Lord’s Supper. Each of these realities point back to our hope in God. Jesus is our final nourishment and source of pleasure, the center of our community and our only hope for salvation. We need food and, when we eat, we learn we need Jesus even more.
Journal
Take 2-3 minutes and journal what you imagined your day would look like if you believed today’s truth. See food in the context of your relationship with God.
