We can wrongly overemphasize our bodies or minimize them. God does neither. We grow when we learn to think like God thinks about our body.

Focus
Jesus is intensely concerned about our bodies – as we will see today, as well as future days.
When asked if he was God’s annointed one, Jesus responded, “the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up… (Matthew 11:4-5).” In other words, his proof that he was God’s Son was this; “See, I’m healing broken lives. I’m caring for physical bodies. That is what a Messiah does. That is my proof.”
Much of the earthly work of Jesus was spent healing people. God is committed to the health of your body. It matters to him. It should matter to you.
