Focus

No one dreams of making a family with help from infertility doctors, sterile rooms and medications. We didn’t imagine the ache in our heart as we relate to friends who have children. Yet, here we are.

We struggle to trust Christ even on the days it hurts the most, even when we are not sure we want to. Throughout this journey, and after, there will be many times you must redefine, reorient and recalibrate yourself to a new normal.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the Lord in everything you do, and he will show you the right way. Never let yourself think that you are wiser than you are; simply obey the Lord and refuse to do wrong.” —Proverbs 5:7
