Calming Anxiety

We have so many thoughts that we don’t even notice most of them! Yet as we slow down we can hear our own thoughts and see how they drive us forward. It is normal to have many untrue thoughts slip in and cause havoc!

Focus

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:5.

It is easy to allow our thinking to be clouded by experience or misconceptions. Only when we start to actively stop the lies and turn them on their heals can we demolish anxiety.

 

Journal

Take 2-3 minutes and journal what you imagined your day would look like if you believed today’s truth. Taking thoughts captive is a kindness to our selves.
