When we get “locked” onto some particular thing we think will solve everything or help us relax, we have walked into a trap. Placing comfort or solace into a worldly thing is a trap.

Focus

“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”—Hebrews 13:5 

What we need is a consistent, immovable foundation—that can’t be lost, broken, stolen or spent. That is the promise of God! That nothing will come between us. And that he knows what will bring true contentment—learning of the true value inherent in our lives and his love for us. God created you with emotions and desires to relate to your full experience.
