Day 13
Trust is the opposite of fear, not safety. Trust has to be in something greater than that which causes fear—only God is always greater.

Focus
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” —Psalm 56:3
There is precious help in learning to trust. Reciting this verse is a beautiful way to act according to your true need—to have a resting place that is bigger than any fear. Whether the fear is rational or not, God is bigger, more able, and safe. We may not escape the situation, but we can trust in him through it.
Journal
Take 2-3 minutes and journal what you imagined your day would look like if you believed today’s truth. Start reciting this verse and enacting your trust.
