Focus

Our world breeds so much comparison. The infertility and loss community very easily gets tripped up into the comparison and scarcity mindset. The place where we think we have it harder than the next person. Or maybe they have it so much worse, and I should just be grateful. Loss is loss. It is all soul-crushingly hard. We must stop comparing our hards, because then we will not be so alone in them.

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” —Romans 8:18
